Social Program

The welcome reception will take place on Wednesday, 5th September; it is included in the regular and in the reduced fees. It is possible to buy tickets for accompanying persons at https://conference.mercatura.pt/EUROMECH2018 .

The colloquium dinner will occur on Thursday, 6th September. It will take place at Casa da Música . The colloquium dinner is included in the regular fee; tickets for accompanying persons or for delegates that register at a reduced fee can be purchased when registering at https://conference.mercatura.pt/EUROMECH2018 .

On Friday afternoon, a tour in Porto will take place. The tour consists of:

- a walk in the old city centre of Porto;

- Six Bridges Cruise in river Douro;

- visit to a Port wine cellar.

All colloquium participants are welcome to the tour, but participation should be confirmed in advance (please contact Dr. Hamed Akhavan, hamed@fe.up.pt). Accompanying persons can purchase a ticket on-site.
